*CURRENTLY…Tim is working with Theatre Raleigh on their production of THE PROM (Aug 2-13th) as Associate Director/Associate Choreographer!

*UP NEXT…Tim will be Choreographing Raleigh ACT’s Fall Season which includes Finding Nemo JR. (November 13th-19th), 13: The Musical (December 1st-3rd) and Something Rotten (December 8th-10th), He will Also be Directing their production of Finding Nemo KIDS (November 13th-19th).

Choreography:

Why dance? Leading with this question at the forefront of every project allows Tim Malboeuf (he/him) to be highly specific with every movement. Asking “why” allows him to get specific with every action, and focuses the choreography on telling a story through dance. For this reason, Tim Malboeuf’s choreography is known for being highly detailed and clearly motivated, as well as athletic and dynamic.

Directing:

As a director, Tim’s primary artistic focus is on displaying human connection onstage. Therefore Tim strives to assist his performers in making their work personal, specific, and important. By means of positive reinforcement, and encouragement to explore & play during the rehearsal process, Tim is able to facilitate a welcoming, safe space for his actors. For Tim, creating this safe space to express vulnerability, by strengthening trust between actor and director, is of the utmost importance.
